Eating out can be a bit expensive
for a college student on a budget.
Many CCC students have breaks between classes and are always looking for a bite to eat. In the area where our campus is located, we are blessed with many sit down and fast food restaurants such as Applebee’s, Red Lobster, McDonald’s and Chick-Fil-A, just to name a few.
Eating out can be a bit expensive for a college student on a budget. Luckily, CCC students have an on-campus, inexpensive Café at their disposal. Why would someone drive off campus and spend $15 for Chick-Fil-A when the Cumberland Café has chicken tenders and fries for approximately $7? The Café offers daily specials as well as the favorites that are offered everyday, such as chicken tenders, pizza, and mozzarella sticks.
I hear students on campus everyday complain about not having a cheap place to eat. I hear them complain about the prices of fast food and having to “waste gas” to travel there. CCC students can use their legs to walk over to the Student Center and purchase an inexpensive breakfast, lunch, or dinner while waiting for another class. The staff members at the Cumberland Café are friendly and inviting. They make you want to come back for their services and delicious food.
Being a student on the run, it is convenient to have a quality meal before or after class, at a very cheap price. It doesn’t make sense to leave campus to pay for overpriced food if you have a break for only an hour. The Café allows you to stay on campus and purchase a quality meal. The food is made to order and satisfies the hungry student. I feel full for hours after eating at the Cumberland Café and feel as if I can focus on a full stomach.
Students can check out the Cumberland Café menu in the café itself or online at cccnj.edu for daily specials and check out what meals they have to offer.
CCC has many resources and opportunities for students and staff, including a quality meal. The Cumberland Café works hard to provide meals for the student body of Cumberland County College day in and day out. I see the Cumberland Café as a quality meal for any CCC student and I highly recommend it if you want a satisfying, yet low-priced meal.
